AOT MediaModule Analysis of Transcriptomes is an engaging, inquiry-based genomics educational course designed for users at the undergraduate level. Using the principles of instructional design, each of the seven subsections opens with two to four questions that serve as the learning objectives. Watch a video about AOT.           Genomics Media Book (Prentice Hall release) The Genomics Media Book features a table of contents for a complete genomics curriculum and a searchable index as its unique features. The GMB was carefully designed to convey rich, interactive content and also allows for the assessment and evalution of users.           Microarray Module (Pirelli release) The Pirelli Internetional Multimedia Award-winning Microarrays MediaBook creates an interactive multimedia environment to convey principles of a key technique in genomic science. It demonstrates the mathematical foundations of methodology and interpretation of data across multiple individuals and experimental conditions. Watch a video about the Microarray Module.           Russian MediaModule All Russian verbs include a grammatical category called “aspect” that is absent in English. Aspect involves dozens of contrasting uses, and is notoriously difficult for linguists to describe and learners to master. The goal of the Aspect in Russian MediaModule is to teach learners to think about aspect in a new way.           3D Animation Detailed, scientifically accurate, and compelling 3D animations increase the relevance, and thus the impact, for learners. The ISL creates sophisticated media that provide "real-life" experiences through technology.           Instructional Video The IMG has collaborated with the DESTINY Program to produce instructional videos for its traveling science labs and with SPIRE and the Partnership for Minority Advancement in the Biomolecular Sciences (PMABS) to create professional development tools.
